I’m not a doomer and I do think the patriots are in control, but sometimes things feel helpless. It could be my depression and anxiety or being 19 and seeing this shit unfold as I grow up. I don’t want things to return to normal anymore, I want America to advance to great lengths that has never been seen before. I just want this mess to end.

I was thinking of an old song today and I think it could be a source of comfort for you and others. Especially for a group of people looking forward to hearing “My Fellow Americans, the Storm is upon us...
Here are the title and lyrics. I think the best version is sung by a band called the Charioteers.
****A Shelter in the Time of Storm
The Lord’s our Rock, in Him we hide, A Shelter in the time of storm; Secure whatever ill betide, A Shelter in the time of storm.
Refrain: Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A weary land, a weary land; Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A Shelter in the time of storm.
A shade by day, defense by night, A Shelter in the time of storm; No fears alarm, no foes afright, A Shelter in the time of storm.
The raging storms may round us beat, A Shelter in the time of storm; We’ll never leave our safe Retreat, A Shelter in the time of storm.
O Rock divine, O Refuge dear, A Shelter in the time of storm; Be Thou our Helper ever near, A Shelter in the time of storm.
