As the days go by, I get the sense that the vax plugs the vaxxee into a borg-like communications server and they gradually start to speak and write whatever ideas the borg feeds them.

This explains the uniformity in their responses and also their combativeness/divisiveness, which appears to be increasing with time. Their combativeness with the forces of love is the kind of demonic behavior one would expect from a borg intelligence.
