I dont think God would permit such a mockery of his warning. So its being torn down before it can happen. It was a plan by evil humans to be carried out by evil humans. Yes everything we do day to day is spiritual warfare but this seemed too man made. Maybe im wrong tho...

I lean more towards the poetic foreshadowing myself.

But I don't know. And no one really does. If the Temple is rebuilt and the anti-Christ reveals themselves, then we will know.
