There is NO loyalty amongst these people.

I see no reason why you would say this. The world has lived in darkness for thousands of years precisely because the opposite of this statement seems to be true.

This isn't a basement gang; a bunch of selfish kids grouping together for mayhem. This is a Religion. They work based on their beliefs. Within those beliefs seems to be that if they say anything to harm the group they will meet a fate much worse than death.
