How many of these people who get caught were raised long before the explosive growth of the internet? And how EASILY we can look back through their posts and videos and documents and see exactly what they've said?
They pretend that they never said the things they contradict later, and expect us to just never go and see for ourselves.
The problem isn’t that they get caught it’s the fact that it doesn’t register when they’re caught. Confronted with an actual video of them saying the exact opposite, they don’t even blink. It doesn’t penetrate, the programming is so complete. It comes from years of situational ethics. Whatever needs to be said at any given moment is said. It doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong, truthful or not. 10 minutes later is a different situation and the complete opposite can be said without shame or embarrassment.
