Just a thought the longer jury takes to come up with a verdict the better it's going to be for Kyle. That would indicate to me that they're having a hard time getting out 12 people to agree that this is not self defense. Grid locked juries usually end up in a mistrial. It's only been a couple days but that's still a good sign. If it was a simple slam Dunk case They would have already come back with a guilty verdict.

It actually appears that the judge gave a win/not lose situation for Kyle. He basically said. we will hear the verdict, if it's not guilty, great. If they say guilty, he will do a mistrial (without prejudice).
Yes the judge can absolutely overrule the jury and I don't believe he is in fear he already has protection from the police and marshals If the jury comes back without anything less than not guilty or a mistrial hes going to overrule them for sure you are correct
Any source for that? I have not heard that anywhere, he still has not ruled on the motion for mistrial with prejudice. I cannot imagine him making a comment like that while jury is deliberating.
The source is the live stream. He only appears a few times today so rewatch it and look for the judge. Sorry I don't have a timestamp. It was fairly close to 3or 4pm
Yet no just his actions he has yelled at the prosecution so many times for doing so many stupid things and now the altered video. Just my thoughts the judge can overrule the jury he knows this was self defense
