Businesses have that right for testing which means there is not much the governor can do.
But I do know for a fact that some businesses that are mandating testing are not allowing medical/religious exemptions which is a gross violation of US law.
I agree and I think more can be done. I think what can be done is that it would be discriminatory to force the unvaxxed with testing while the vaxxed are not required testing.
That is something the governor can do. But if a company wants to test everyone that is basically their own demise long term. Current employees vaxxed or not vaxxed are fed up and it is harder to bring in new recruits.
That is already happening with the jabbed calling out sick more often.
The nose swabs should be a voluntary public health department initiative and the private employers should have nothing to do with it IMO. Most likely private employers will argue that they do drug testing but weekly/biweekly swabs is no where near the level of a random drug test or a drug test before starting a job.
