Precious is He that would lay down His life for the sins of all mankind. He is the King of all Kings. The devil is no match for the Lord. Happy to call Him my Lord and Saviour.
Do they mean that all the kingdoms of the world and their glory are owned by Satan? Or maybe just at that point in time? If he had the power to give them to Jesus then that would mean they were under Satans power correct? Though Satan could have been lying about having that ability.
OK I read this four times and still can't figure out who is saying what to whom or what is going on. Who is going to hit their foot on a stone? Who's hands are going to bear who up? Why is the word 'their' italicized? What does it mean to 'bear somebody up?' What is that about? Who wants to put God to the test? Or not. Why not? Why is it in all caps like some boomer wrote it?
Satan was offering Jesus all the kingdoms and glory? He's God's son, why would he need Satan to give him anything?
So Jesus just says to Satan, hey dude it is written here that you shall worship God.
And Satan doesn't reply and just kind of wanders off at that point. ???
Then the angels began to 'minister' to Jesus? What does that mean?
Why is 'began' italicized?
There must be some kind of meta-language that religious people learn, because this doesn't make any sense to me.

8 and 9 are particularly interesting.

Before Christ—Satan had the authority over the Earth. Christ came and stripped Satan of his authority and gave the keys to His Children… the Church
Wow, well said!

That is from Luke 4. Try the NLT translation, it is somewhat easier to understand.

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain that stuff. I was trying but completely lost.
Thanks, fren.
How do I match up the text in the image with stuff on that web page because they seem to be different.
Great post.
