It is absolutely lies from the CCP.
China was hit - and hit hard. Any death numbers they are reporting are complete B.S. I have details that back this up. READ ON:
#1 - 21 MILLION CELL PHONES STOPPED TRANSMITTING - Consider that China is a country of mass surveillance. Everyone must carry a cell phone with facial recognition. If you can't afford one, you are given one. You cannot board a bus, purchase a subway ticket or purchase groceries without your phone. It must be carried on your person at all times.
#2 - HOSPITALS WERE OVERRUN - Additionally, as I researched, I saw many videos coming out of China before they shut down their internet and social media. Some of them I had to translate.
I watched videos of people standing in block-long lines 5 people wide trying to get in to the hospital. A doctor was filming as he approached. Once inside the lobby, you could see nothing but bodies filling every corridor and hallway. They were loudly crying and demanding someone help them. They were yelling, "Where are the doctors?"
I am pretty good at reading people and body language. This was not faked.
#3 - GIANT TEMPORARY HOSPITALS - Remember they had to build those huge temporary hospitals in just weeks to accommodate all the sick people? They literally built round the clock and erected them in just days. I watched a video where the person filming walked in and looked around the new place before anyone was let in. The patient rooms had bars on the windows and locks on the outside of the doors and only a slot to pass-thru food or medicine. One guard was interviewed and said, "Notice the bars on the windows and locks on the doors? No one will come out of there alive. This is a prison."
#4 - THE BURNING BODIES - China has more 'density' of buildings and people than any other country. There are no burial plots because there is no land available. Cremation is what you do. Wuhan was running their 8 large crematorium incinerators 24/7 to burn the bodies. One video showed workers sweeping up large piles of cell phones to drop in the trash. You don't want those melting and ruining the incinerators, you know. Then the 8 crematoriums couldn't keep up so they brought in mobile incinerators. Here is an excerpt:
China brings in new mobile incinerators
"China has reportedly deployed 40 industrial incinerators to the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan."
"Chinese media reports that the furnaces have been shipped to the city amid ongoing fears the death toll is being covered up."
"The mobile incinerators can reportedly destroy up to five tons of waste every single day – and can burn its load in as little as two seconds.
It reportedly has the ability to crush solid waste, then incinerate it, and then purify the smoke." Here is the link: https://t.co/kvZi2zfXe4?amp=1
#5 - SMOKE PLUME - A meteorologist reported that a smoke plume coming out of Wuhan was so big, it was showing up in the satellite photos on Windy.com.
Some expert was able to identify the particles in the smoke. He said it was biological rather than wood or paper or plastic. That's a lot of dead bodies!
#6 - THE NURSES - videos of nurses with blisters and face sores from wearing their masks for 18 hours a day crying in the closet and saying that they couldn't keep up with the patients and that they'd run out of PPE and were wearing diapers because there was no time to go to the bathroom and all the doctors were dying or dead.
You can't fake that kind of crying.
I don't know about the whole 21 million thing - it sounds right to me - but I go to China for work once a year and I do a lot of rural travel between factories and not everyone has cell phones and you don't need them to get on a bus. Lots of people have very old flip phones and nokia candybar phones which do not have facial recognition.
Well, I read all kinds of news sources. And I can be wrong. I try to read a variety before I come to a conclusion.
Some of my reading includes Beijing news sources such as Beijing Times, Global Times (English language Chinese news), The China Times, South China Post, Epoch Times, NTD (New Tang Dynasty), and of course the local ones.
I can agree that China is large and many rural areas are different, but my understanding is there is deep surveillance and cameras everywhere in all the large cities, which Wuhan is certainly a large, modern and beautifully designed high tech city, so it made sense to me.

Early on - by April of 2020, (only 4 months in) Beijing was reporting something unusual. It reported that a major cell phone carrier was complaining that 21 million cell phones had gone inactive! In addition, 84,000 land lines had been shut off. I searched and found more reports of this. I saved an article to be able to reference it later. Here it is: https://www.kmov.com/why-did-21-million-phone-numbers-disappear-from-china-after-coronavirus-outbreak/article_80456379-e8af-52a8-9366-f8af64b45fd1.html To me, this says lots and lots of people died.

Hmmm. That is interesting. Not at all what I had read.
