Wouldn't shock me. Even if this is fake prayer has been shown in scientific studies to have better outcomes on patients than the control group. Could be a placebo thing.

I stumbled upon a fantastic book by a Christian scientist that details a lot of things with neurology, epigenetics, etc...and even though some of it sounds out there she mentions verses in the Bible that basically imply the principles we are just now discovering.
