And Polish jokes were created mostly by German immigrants in USA - it was during partition of Poland where Prussia (so today's Germany) took part in occupying Poland - and by treacherous polish jews (who usually made their economic power on helping the nobles exploiting those poor people). Indeed many Poles who migrated to USA were then not educated,but hey - they were poor peasants wanting to avoid hunger from the area of Europe where serfdom were particularly brutal exploitation (comparable maybe only to black slavery in the South really), they were before coming to USA treated like animals by nobles and living in much worse conditions that animals live today on the west.
