When I first started, in 2018, everything was about safety. Morning group stretches to avoid injuries, safety tips etc and we did have a "injury free days count. Now they have no stretches due to covid I guess. We stand next to each other to listen to company news, but we can't stretch? Anyway, now, there are no safety tips, no safety people checking stuff, no essential equipment available. It has just turned to shit since covid.
That’s interesting. Seems like Covid takes the credit for good and bad. Companies love to use plandemic as an excuse not to continue what was once good. I pray things get better or you can find a place that cares. I have never believed those fake commercials about happy Amazon employees. It would be very rare for big companies to not use actors. Just like big pharma commercials!
I work at a sort center so it's 4 hour shifts. The centers where they pick the products have 10 hour shifts. My job is not bad at all. I heard all the horror stories before I started and was a little worried. So in my experience it's a good company (but not as good as the commercials). They do offer good benefits, even for PT workers.
