Well, I think if she was born before the 1990s. I think it was routine. But another Anon in this thread said they stopped vaccinating for it in the late 70s or 80s.

If the Small Pox vaccination given more recently was anything like the one given back in the 60's, there will be a star like scar left over from being vaccinated. I'm 66, and I can still see my scar even now.
