what if January 6th was the democrats attempt at recreating the "reichstag fire" event in germany that the nazis used to force out their main opposition at the time regardless whether or not they were truly to blame (we have no absolute confirmation who actually set the fire, i believe)

it would make a lot of sense, if they could have successfully baited the people there into burning down the capital building, they would have successfully been able to label all maga and maybe even republicans as terrorists and completely remove them from power
