I already posted the following in the previous discussion about this girl:

When I wore contact lenses my corneas would become starved of oxygen after a few hours and I'd find myself opening my eyes wide to "aerate" my eyeballs to lessen the discomfort. What I did looked exactly like what the girl is doing, although I never did it in front of an audience, thank goodness!
