I've been looking into that potential within my expertise.
The barrier I keep running into either comes down to a large initial investment and/or entering competition with large and well established companies.
The first alternative ideas I considered was to look at products only made in China to consider viability of a North American equivalent. That tends to add in a third option of "if it wasn't cheap, would anyone buy it?"
Oh well, since I'm still employed with a no vax required company I can carry on more artistic ventures.
Start your own business. There has never been an easier time. There are so many avenues to promote your skill or product. Like Craigslist, Marketplace, Google Ads, Instagram, etc.
All shithole companies, but great for marketing
When it comes to the advertising/awareness, that would be a direction that is almost not even a choice. That's still putting the cart before the horse, if I don't have anything to advertise (I mean, I could advertise my trade work, but that would feel like a step backwards at this stage... and not that there's anything wrong with trades, just when you get into more technical roles known)
My point was more that to compete against Honeywell or Schneider, that's a hurdle on it's own.
The general idea that I've been making as a hobby, inspired by frens, was to start making media that is not cucked or degenerate. With free tools and a half decent computer, can make something of a calibre to Male a preview and a sale model. (The real challenge for assistance is that it would be hard to recruit people onto a project for a share on something that may not make enough of a return for time).

Nextdoor is another viable option as it allows businesses two free posts per month.

Sorry for ranting.
Then be willing to relocate. See if My Pillow is hiring. Or SpaceX
Things aren't that desperate yet.
Thank God, as much as I dislike my current job, they accept it as a choice.
