In fact, I went to 4 other sources, including MSN (lol) and no party affirmations are mentioned.
In fact, I wasnt able to confirm party affiliation anywhere, including in preliminary articles giving recommendations before the actual election.
All I was able to find was that the man who the election was stolen from was recommended by the Sentinel as being a former military member with a sincere belief he needed to act because the person who cheated had previously apparently misappropriated government funds.
And I had to dig further to find out that the disgraced former mayor who orchestrated the fraud that resulted in the overturning of the elections was, wait for it, a Democrat.
