Old Dominion Trucking Co. has sent out a private statement by their owner and ceo to ALL Old Dominion employees: Vaccinating is a personal choice. There is a deep seated belief that forceful medical procedures violate basic human rights and will not be a part of Old Dominion Freight. Be ready for 2022, the freight will be absolutely pouring in and OD will push forward! He mentioned after 50 hours will be paid overtime but it will not be mandatory. Each employee is family and each requires different schedules. OD will see that each driver is comfortable, well rested, and cared for individually because each are individuals. ~It was just a fantastic message to hear! It directly effects my family and gives us all one more thing to be thankful for. We would NEVER allow those DS scum to jam filthy crud into our magnificent temples tyvm.
