Most non-profit foundations seem to be scams where millions of dollars of donations are taken in and spent on wages for the founder's friends.
Consider the non-profit Clinton Foundation that took in billions every year, spent less than 1% on legitimate charities and was later discovered to not be a charity but a library. We all know where that money went.

And then get into “not for profit” … like parts of our medical system, where actually plenty of profit is being made.
