I worked in a grocery store where there was a single use restroom. One person effectively discouraged use by anyone else, by refusing to lock the door or signaling that it was occupied upon a knock and question.
I would handle it differently now, but I do see what they did.
How are these people to stand up to LGBT, though? (This wasn’t even a LGBT person, just someone who well understood psychology.)
I’ve experienced unisex toilets at a San Fran museum and let me tell you, everyone is uncomfortable. Men, woman and children. Also, not a tranny in sight, not that anyone wanted to make eye contact. This whole thing is awkward.
