Sorry, I went in to the settings of this page and changed the layout and for some reason I couldn't see my notifications..What are your thoughts on it?... the FOIA article
I should go through the article again to refresh my memory but my first thought was about transparency, kind of where you and I left off in our previous chat. To label their own product safe and effective that is basically being mandated on humans all over the world but without releasing the information showing that it is safe and effective. Although I am an idiot, I do not know much about this stuff, I would imagine other drugs, such as viagra, I am sure you could get data on a drug like that.. but for a controversial vaccine that is in many ways being forced on people.. why are they asking for 55 years... to make people all warm and cuddly inside, show us the data, right?
Well they have released tons of information. The article you shared says a group is requesting over 300,000 pages of data that would then have to be reviewed to ensure no privacy laws are being broken.
I would read the article again, it mentions how data has to be pored over and potentially edited before turning them over to the requester, it’s not just a process of “here’s the documents you requested.”
Have you worked in documentation? I have, albeit for writing manuals for part catalogues. It’s tedious work, and I imagine it’s even more so when it comes to both medical and scientific data being reviewed.
Likely a place like this has all kinds of requests coming in, and depending on the size of their workforce, can’t get everything done at once. To completely review that many pages would take years, so I don’t doubt at all their request is going to take that long
"The group of scientists argued that releasing data relating to the vaccine would help satisfy vaccine skeptics of its safety and encourage further vaccinations." .... or the exact opposite. By 2076 most of us will be dead... and wouldn't that estimate to about 500 pages a week? I bet one person could easily do that in a day or two. Or maybe I'm dreaming
Looks like Rep. Ralph Norman just introduced a bill to make the FDA release the information in 100 or so days because he stated “After all, the FDA managed to consider all 329,000 pages of data and grant emergency approval of the Pfizer vaccine within just 108 days. So it’s hard to rationalize why it now needs 55 years to fully release that information to the public.” It's a valid point... especially if your gonna mandate it even though you have many people treating themselves at home naturally or even with over the counter supplements, right?
It doesn't make you wonder at all how they approved it so quickly for injection? Less than a year to approve but 55 years to provide the info.. maybe that's just how it goes.. but you would think that something so important, I mean the experts are saying the injection is the only thing that will end the pandemic and save human life... you would think that they could find some funding to hire more then 10 people to provide this information. An answer of 55 years does obviously sound more like an excuse right?

Well, my first thought is who are these people requesting it? Just some group of 30 professors?
And then what is the request for? How much info are they looking for? because over 300,000 pages of info seems like a LOT.

55 years for a vaccine produced at warp speed? Kind of funny, right?
