"When asked about the rift over the woke curriculum by Newsweek, the Salvation Army's spokesman, Joseph Cohen, insisted the organization hadn’t changed its ideology in any way."
Well, it doesn't sound like Mr. Cohen sees any problems with the situation. My fiance was a hopeless Alcoholic until a cop brought him to the salvation army's local program, he went through it, sobered up, they put him in a sober house, he hasn't touched alcohol for over five years, and out of gratitude has donated to them regularly. He was shocked when I sent him the article about their new woke agenda, I could tell he was extremely dismayed. I don't think Mr. Cohen should be messing up an organization that is vital to so many addicts of all colors, many of them may no longer feel welcome at the "Sally" as it is affectionately known in recovery circles. It's so sad .
