Before the second debate, the media drops the Access Hollywood Tape.
On October 7, 2016, during the 2016 United States presidential election, The Washington Post published a video and accompanying article about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and television host Billy Bush having "an extremely lewd conversation about women" in 2005. Trump and Bush were in a bus on their way to film an episode of Access Hollywood, a show owned by NBCUniversal. In the video, Trump described his attempt to seduce a married woman and indicated he might start kissing a woman that he and Bush were about to meet. He added, "I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."[1] Commentators and lawyers have described such an action as sexual assault.[2]
To their shock, Trump retaliates by luring the press into a press conference with him only to reveal that sitting with him are 4 Bill Clinton’s sexual assault and rape accusers. At a press conference streamed on Facebook Live, Trump appeared at a table with Juanita Broaddrick, a former nurse who claims Clinton raped her in 1978, Kathleen Willey, a former White House volunteer who claims Clinton sexually assaulted her in 1993, Paula Jones, a former Arkansas employee who claims Clinton sexually harassed her in 1991, and Kathleen Shelton, who says she was raped in 1975 by Thomas Alfred Taylor, whom Hillary Clinton represented as his public defender.

Steele continues his let’s-pretend-gossip-is-evidence by claiming Micheal Cohen committed high crimes to cover up for Manafort and Page.
Steele published a memorandum alleging that Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, travelled to the Czech Republic to secretly meet with Kremlin officials in an effort to “cover up scandal of MANAFORT and exposure of PAGE”.

Shortly after the third debate on October 19th, the FBI obtains the initial FISA warrant (October 21st, 2016) to surveil the Trump campaign using the Steele Dossier as their justification. They lie about the evidence to obtain it.

The third debate clearly spooked the spooks who are now becoming highly suspicious of Trump. They feel their plants are not enough to monitor him. Although they don’t trust Trump, they do trust their ability to destroy Trump and his family if he tries to actually win the election. They believe fear controls him since fear controls them.

To their horror, Trump does the impossible and beats Hillary Clinton. He wins the presidential election in 2016.

Early Q posts also imply that they had intended to steal the election, but backed off after the military leaked what would happen if the DS tried. In 2016 the DS had been so sure of Hillary’s victory that they likely did not have assets in place to cause mass insurrection if the military did a coup. Mike Rogers visits Trump Tower on November 17th, 2016 to warn President-elect (https://clintonfoundationtimeline.com/16513-2/) Donald Trump that he is being surveilled. Rogers is later removed from his position for this. The day after, the Trump administration move their operations from Trump Tower to his golf course in Bedminister, New Jersey on November 18th, 2016.
(note - That golf course in Bedminister, New Jersey would later become known as the “Summer White House” (has a SCIF). Trump bought it from John Z. Delorean who created the Delorean that was featured in the movies “Back To the Future”. John Z. Delorean was destroyed by the DS and they used the government to accuse him of selling drugs. Christopher and Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson continue their “investigation”. They publish one more memorandum on December 13th, 2016.

At the “instruction” of Christopher Steele, Andrew Wood contacted David Kramer, a former State Department assistant secretary and scholar at Senator John McCain’s think tank in Arizona.[61], [62] Kramer arranged for Wood to privately meet with Senator McCain during the Halifax International Security Forum in Canada, and Senator McCain ordered Kramer to travel to England where he was briefed by Steele.[63] When Kramer returned to Washington D.C., he was given a copy of the dossier by Glenn Simpson, which he then relayed to Senator McCain.[64] Not realizing that the FBI already had this information, Senator John McCain met with then-FBI Director James Comey on December 9 to handoff the dossier. ( I call BS on McCain not knowing.)
On January 6th, the government has the awkward job of briefing President-elect Donald Trump on the Steele Dossier. They leave out key details (likely working hard to cover up the FISA court warrant that was issued BASED on the Steele Dossier. Oops.
Shortly before Inauguration Day, on January 6, 2017, Comey briefed President Barack Obama and President-Elect Donald Trump on the contents of the dossier. This briefing was reported by CNN on January 10. Specific details of the dossier were omitted, but a credible British intelligence operative was reported to be the author of a series of memos that alleged Russian operatives had compromising personal and financial information on President-Elect Trump. The report also spoke of allegations of “a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.”
Buzzfeed screws them all when it publishes the Steele Dossier on January 10th Oops again!
On January 10, BuzzFeed cited CNN’s report as justification for publishing the entirety of the “unverified, and potentially unverifiable allegations” in the Steele Dossier.
note —- What follows is a near-constant stream of excuses about how they totally did not know it was based on unsubstantiated evidence and, “oh, is it our job to substantiate evidence before asking a FISA court to let us surveil a presidential candidate? What?! Is that in the rulebook? Oh, it is. Well how were we supposed to know just because it’s our job to know?!”
Meanwhile, they think they're safe when the Mueller Probe starts and believe that will hover up the evidence of their crimes. Jeff Sessions plays possum while the Huber team of 470 begin quietly investigating from outside of DC.

At 3:56 in the video the military mysteriously appears and stands behind Trump as he says “WE are transferring power from Washington, DC and giving it back to you , THE PEOPLE.”
