Its so much worse than that because they are just seeing something like an American flag on their backpack or shirt and assuming these people support Trump. If its not just a story then its very likely they are victimizing random people based on false assumptions.

Exactly, it's amazing what crazy stories and unfounded assumptions these people will make up about someone based on that person's looks. I swear it's a mental illness.
