Epstein partied with a bunch of famous people and flew them around. It was his method of dick waving. It was his method of buddying up to people so he could figure out which people would be willing to go to the island. Lots of celebrities flew with Epstein that never went to the island. Trump is one of them. Lots of celebrities and powerful people did go to the island, however.
