It’s been a long day, plenty of wins, I must say… 3 front pages I guess…. The world is in ebullition. I handle my Advent resolution quite well, drinking herbal tea and still sleeping all right after 2 days of a lighter sleep quality. I will easily do it and you know what? It reminds me of the anticipated joy (« Vorfreude ») is so nicer than immediate joy as it is so much closer from Faith! We need to hold a little longer before indulging, this makes the indulging even nicer.🙏🏻
You can say that again. After the Holiday's George and I are going on a very HUGE diet. Not that we're heavily obese or nothing, but we can afford to shed a few pounds. I did it once before and then I got e coli from some bad lettuce and lay on the sofa for 13 days until I couldn't take it no more. George kept pushing cranberry juice and gatorade down me so I wouldn't dehydrate. I lost an extra 14 pounds due to that. But after 13 days I finally had him take me to the Emergency Room. They asked me if I was trying to kill myself or something. I thought I just had the flu. That was WINTER 2019. Some people think now that I had Covid but I don't think so.
Anyway, glad to hear you are sticking with your Advent. The season will be more joyous and God loves a person who fasts and repents. Plus food will taste so much more delicious when you can finally eat again. That's like when I dieted before, I would fast one day and eat good the next. On my fasting days I would drink unsalted chicken or beef broth. I also rode my stationary bike and walked on my treadmill. Then I would do a dance routine for about 3 rock-n-roll songs. That in itself is a work out. Anyway, I know you're not doing Advent for losing weight, but it is a good way to be healthy. Forgive me for harping about my diets.
Wins are great too. I get excited everytime I hear one. Last night I loved it about Chris Cuomo. And I heard that President Trump said he was going to look into the Ashli Babbit case. And I heard so many WINS on the News last night that I feel we are REALLY close to this ending. It will be like Christmas when the time finally arrives. It will be the JOY of the year. That is the only present I ask for. God bless you for doing all the good things God asks as it takes a very patient and caring person to commit themselves to such things. Not everyone can do it. But I know you can and I feel you have done it before. Good luck.
Mary! How nice to read you🤗
Sorry, I had to jump off for a while to get the kids off the bus. Nice to read you too. How's it going.
