Erm, what? WTF do electrical tools have to do with guns other than they both have "triggers"? Guns have to be specially modified to have very light trigger pulls and most require 7+ pounds of pressure though a single action once cocked is closer to 5 (at least for the ones I own). Which means any trigger pull is VERY intentional. Hint: prop guns by nature do NOT have very light trigger pulls because actors are fucking idiots and would set off light trigger pulls all the bloody time spoiling scenes.
ok. Well you seem to know guns. I don't. I know electrical tools sometimes malfunction and the slightest touch can set them off dangerously. I assumed the prop gun the same. .... According to your assessment of prop guns, if this happened (per actor) sounds like the prop gun was inappropriately adjusted. ....
Inappropriately used and someone had to load it. Scene or rehearsal or w/e it was they were doing did not call for the firing of the gun so should not have even had blanks. Someone loaded it, cocked it, and pulled the trigger. Alec for sure did the last two.
Ya'all have never worked a powerful electric tool that jumps at the slightest pressure when it shouldn't have, I see.
