Yawn... just one more wholesome thing turned to shit by the Reverse Midas Touch of the left. I used to watch that pageant back when I was a teenager, it was a joy looking at such beautiful women.... but I outgrew it when I hit 19 and never watched again. I woke up to the fact that it was a meaningless event that celebrated glamor and empty headed "values." The most awkward moments came when the contestants had to answer some inane question like, "What would you do to bring about world peace?" Oh boy, some of the answers were cringe-worthy stupid.
