Life has happened. I will be unable to continue my q-clock work. Disappointing for some, a sigh of relief for others. I’ve had mixed feedback posting the daily clock crumbs.
My eyes are open now and they weren’t a year ago. I’ve joined a church and am being instructed in the ways of Christianity. Thank you to everyone, even the doomers, who have inspired me. Give thanks and praises frens.
If anyone cares, just head over to qagg.news and plug in {CLOCK 00} or whatever minute today is to get the post on the clock for that minute. Or you can browse my post history for the long form beauty of GAW. u/ExpendableSheepDog
Its been a fun ride. I hope to return in the near future.
I am not outright condemning every church by saying that, but it is something to keep in mind for anyone that requires a church and middleman for their understanding of Christianity. By the time the Protestant movements started happening the infiltration and subversion of the Catholic Church had been well obtained by Babylon. The Protestant movements were a direct response to that recognized subversion even if they didn't fully understand why, but inherently any Protestant branch took more from Catholicism than left behind.
It took me 2 minutes to to find the links of your church back to the Pentecostal and Methodist movements.
Again it isn't a full condemnation, but you should really study the scripture on your own above having others tell you how to interpret it.
As long as your church is teaching the Bible, not their opinion..it’s a good start. You know Jesus hung out with the sinners...maybe a person wanting to learn, can ask the right questions before the congregation, that rattles the very foundations of a mislead church. Keep God in your heart. Go forth without fear. Don’t be afraid of Satan..with Jesus at your back, nothing can stand against you. March into the fire!
Amen
Amen!
I do agree with you though that people should be studying the Bible on their own, or in groups with other people. The thing is, the Calvary chapel that I go to… Our pastor has always said that we should read the Bible on our own, And to not take his word for it, but to do our own studying. I’ve been going to that church for probably 20 years off and on. He has never claimed to be the end all for teaching, the only provide when he feels God is leading him to say through many years of studying God‘s word. He’s always encouraged us to read the word on her own, and find out what God is telling us.
Well then that certainly sounds like a good church to be in!
Then who was the founder of Calvary chapel. What was the movement all about, and how did you track that back to Pentecost or Methodist. I’d like to know.
