Without inundating me with conspiracy theories, what is the actual engineering and scientific story about 5G? My wife and I are looking at new phones and they are 5G. Techno nerds of GAW, what is the story?

A friend of mine who understands energy quite well challenged me to convince him 5G is dangerous. I asked him to bring up the operating frequency range of 5G. Then I asked him to bring up the operating frequency of a microwave oven. Then I asked him what a microwave does to water. And finally asked him what the water composition of a human is.
His response "OH SHIT!"
The upper frequency range of 5G has the capability of boiling humans from the inside out. Any installation of a 5G tower is a direct threat to humanity and should be treated as such.
