In the 40's or 50s my grandparents were poll workers and I have one of the original poll books they used back then. It's very old and has people's signatures in it, no lists, people just signed in when they came to vote kind of like you sign a wedding or funeral book. Obviously, my grandparents just carried it with them when they worked the polls. When I first looked through it, I found my MIL and FIL's signatures. We come from a small town. It's crazy coincidence. Also, my Dad's first rental property he bought through my father-in-law way before I was old enough to have a boyfriend much less a husband and the street that property sits on is my husband's first name.
