Received my NAC but it smells like an aromatic hot sweet onion fart

Got it from PipingRock. Is this the typical odor with this stuff or might I have gotten some inferior low quality Chinese crap?

It's hydrogen sulfide. The same thing that makes sewers smell bad. All NAC smells that way when oxidized. Try and keep it in a cool, dark location and air tight to minimize the effect. But it will never completely go away.
