Not trying to play devil's advocate, but how long has it been since Tucker has grown more conservative over the years? He used to be at MSDNC, after all. What if he's only recently started to realize that everyone is corrupt and complicit? I only started waking up around '15 or '16.
I'd be a little more weirded out about it if it was more recent.
Once again, not trying to be a Tucker fan just trying to look at all sides. Are you sure Fox didn't shut it down? I know several hosts have been disallowed to talk about certain subjects specifically from their higher ups. Just wanting the blame to go fully upon the right place. I know Tucker has had to keep his mouth shut about stuff before, and people say, "Just quit and go to some smaller network", but you would have to make a difficult decision to lose a chunk of a large audience that wouldn't be exposed to a certain set of truths otherwise. I don't think he's golden but much like Alex Jones, he serves an important purpose; to get people to this point (GA.WIN) or level of thinking about what's really going on out there.
He is paid to do a job. He reads the teleprompter. He is a Fox employee, thus he is controlled opposition. He is paid very well to be in the club. He will not stray or bite the hand that feeds him.

He shut down the Hunter story. Right before the election. Right after photos from Hunter's laptop were leaked to the net that included CP.
