Sounds just like the media coverage of the Jan 6 "insurrection" here; thousands of people peacefully gathering, with a few dozen, likely paid, agitators breaking into, or just being let into, the Capital. Unfortunately, there were then hundreds of people who just followed the crowd into the Capital, although, if you weren't close enough to the front to see what was going on, I could see how people might think, "Oh, it looks like they are letting us into the Capital, I guess I'll check it out", and then get arrested for it.
