No, its just that if the media doesn't call it Trumps vaccine, then they would have to call it Bidens. It cant be neither of theirs to claim. Therefore, if they were to talk about the vaccine being bad, they would say "Trumps Vaccine" instead of "Bidens Vaccine". If Trump never claimed the vaccine, then they wouldn't as easily be able to call it his, therefore they would most likely just refuse to cover negative vax stories.

Operation warp speed was brilliant. They couldn't fight him on his acceleration of their vaccine rollout because that wouldve been bad optics for them. He threw a massive wrench in their 20 year plan as well as making them more prone to make mistakes

It's essentially the train analogy; if the train is guaranteed to kill at least one person, and you can turn it to the one or you could turn it to the many, of course you would turn it to the one. Trump referenced in the past, right around the time he was preparing to announce operation warp speed, that he was about to have to make the most difficult decision of his life. He knew that his decision would kill hundreds of thousands; but it was either that or they proceed with the original plan which is to slowly roll it out over time while maintaining lockdowns due to new variants, ultimately killing millions, not to mention the tyranny part of it.
