This article was a great read. Not sure what to make of everything happening. We are NOT watching a movie. We are living life and there won't be anything worth living anymore.... . I'm unwilling to move the goalposts any further.

FTA: Let’s say, for argument’s sake, that this is correct. Why expect things to change in 2024? What is Trump going to do then that would prevent 2020 from happening all over again? Until and unless voters get an answer to this question, they have no reason to think that a second Trump term won’t result in yet another unprecedented kind of disaster.
This is the gut-punch question that at this point I think all Trump supporters need to hear/read. I was willing to think his walking away on 1/20 was part of the plan, but now too much time has passed and his performance has come to look like the standard R lie: Help me fight and we'll turn this around. There's a phrase my family uses that seems to apply to Trump: He had his chance to be a big man, and he blew it.

I agree with you, and these are things we need to start openly discussing. But, we probably won't for awhile, because we're stuck in wanting a return to "normal." Normies get their clot shots and we want Trump back, and very few are willing to lift the curtain to do the critical analysis. It's a hard thing to grasp that "normal" will not be returning.

I must agree. If I didn’t know better, I would feel demoralized after reading this article. Well written maybe grammatically, yet jaded and cynical in tone. Pres. Trump: “The best is yet to come”. Promises made, promises kept!

Did he offer any actionable strategy or just complain because things aren't going his way?
I get sick of people complaining and crying while offering no solution.

not that long a piece, written well so easy to get through. his point is that if this long trail of abuses drags on, and all we're offered is Trump 2024, we've learned nothing:
it's not a droning on, complaining and crying. it's a concise summary of what we have patiently endured and suffered. it's a fair calculation that what we have lost is irreconcilable and irrecoverable -- preventable losses.
his point is that we voted and acted for law and order -- to uphold the Constitution. that did not happen. and excuses are thinning out. if the GOP, under Trump, could not get the ball into the end zone while they had so much power, perhaps that was never their intention.
