I saw these go across our Northwestern sky last night before I had heard about Skylink. A straight line of "stars" (satellites progressing steadily across the zenith.) At first glance, I thought I was seeing the fiery remnant of a meteor--my only frame of reference. The way the indigenous of the Caribbean islands could not piece together what a sailing ship coming off the horizon was when Columbus first came (no frame of reference.) Then I saw they were a line of "stars" (satellites) travelling in an ordered line in a easterly direction.
