We come to GA by many different paths, mine was a combo of bad politics, bad medicine, current events... and modern prophecy. In a way, Kim Clement and Henry Gruver brought me to Q and GA. I've also been drawn to Kent Christmas. He preaches loudly every Sunday and has a quieter bible-study-type YT on Wednesdays. He does not always prophesy. His words yesterday were bold and dramatic, ultimately inspiring, and specific enough to prove him true or condemn him within a fixed time.
If you are open to modern prophecy, Christ-centered, I recommend making time for it. One hour long, in a two-hour recorded livestream. I recommend starting at exactly the 1-hour mark. https://livestream.com/accounts/7026721/events/8539062/videos/227877858
The website is Regeneration Nashville, the name of his church. Most YT of his prophecies are unauthorized rips with annoying ads. One more thing- keep your hand near the volume button; he can surprise you.
Need to get our 5-fold ministry back that Jesus gave us. Too many have dwindled it down to a 3-fold ministry. As a christian I follow the prophets God has raised up for this time. Should definitely follow:
Kent Christmas ( Regeneron Church ) Robin Bullock ( Church International/ The 11th hour ) Amanda Grace ( Ark of Grace ) Kim Clement Dutch Sheets ... and many more
Many churches shy away from the office of prophet and apostle, due to complexities of discernment. Discernment is easier when you know the word, and gets much easier over time. A false prophet does not align with the word of god. His prophets, align with his word, and many will say the same word from the Lord.
The roman empire killed all the mature Christians and leaders leaving baby christians in control. From memory I believe this happened 10 times in the early church. Soon after Rome absorbed Christianity into their pagan system and changed the name to universal. Catholicism. The pope took on the robe and throne of the emperor. "Holy Roman Empire" Some do not believe the age of Gifts is over or that Apostles and Prophets will never be raised up again. A kingdom divided can not stand. Anybody hear about the little battle the pope waged on his orthodox brothers during the Crusades era? "Northern Crusades"
Knowing Church history can go a long way to explaining why today's church is impotent and dividided
How will this division be healed if Jesus does not raise up Apostles once more
Thanks. Will check out the video.
Let's be clear about the Bible. The Cannon is closed. There are no new revelations. These people are not prophets (they might be profits), they are predictors. They try to predict what might happen. If you want to know what will happen to the world, read the book of Revelation.
So are you considering the "Prophecy of two Presidents" by Kim Clement, to be merely a prediction? I think it's a rather bold stand you take to say there are no living prophets in our day. And I do believe Joel 2:28 is coming to pass, and that we will soon see the land flowing with Milk and Honey.
There are certain gifts that were given to the church during the time of the Apostles that have ceased. The gift of healing is one good example. When the Apostles or Jesus healed someone, it was instantaneous and permanent. That gift is no longer available today. The 'signs and wonders' performed by the Apostles were to validate that the Apostles were from God. The gift of Prophesy, ie foretelling the future has also ceased. Prophesy has two definitions, one is to FORETELL and the second is to TELL FORTH. Foretell is to tell of a future event still to happen. To Tell Forth is to preach the word of God.
I consider the 'Prophecy of Kim Clement' to be blasphemy because he claims that God spoke it.
Here is the prophecy; And they shall say, "But now there is a second president. How can we have two presidents?" An unusual thing, isn't it? says the Spirit of the Lord.
Why would it be that one with a double-mind would stand up and face the people? No, they shall say, "We have two presidents, what do we do now?"
Fear not. For God says, as I promised before, this is My nation, and I will change things according to the time and season. And I told you now in spring, I will expose and reveal things that have been hidden, so that My nation can move into this next election and to the next phase with victory and honor and glory, says the Lord of Hosts!
posting subjective opinion as face is not wise. you have no idea what you are talking about
Nobody's saying it's canon. Are you saying that Joel 2:28 no longer applies?
Joel 2:28 has had a partial fulfillment from the day of Pentecost to the end of the last book of the Bible as there were signs and wonders performed by the Apostles and they also dreamed dreams and saw visions. Joel 2:28 will be fulfilled in the Day of the Lord during the great tribulation.
That is the interpretation of most biblical commentaries.
Thanks for the response. I don't have a vested interest in you believing this particular person, but if you believe God is done speaking to His people, I believe you are mistaken. When God answers a prayer, isn't that a message? If His answer is a message to be shared, can that message not be a prophecy?
The Bible is often misinterpreted. Saul of Tarsus knew the scriptures backwards and forwards, and yet he was mistaken, up until Jesus corrected him. I am mindful of how God acts and appears in many different and unexpected ways throughout the Old Testament, and how Jesus himself fulfilled prophecy while dashing prophetic expectations. It's healthy to be humble, and humility involves an openness to being wrong, and correcting ourselves as we learn more.
All that said, that doesn't mean that this guy is right, or worth your time. But I can absolutely say that nothing in this self-declared prophecy is the result of logical reasoning or sensible predictions. Many self-declared prophets traffic in ambiguity and plausible deniability. But I posted this precisely because that's not the case here. If he's not truly speaking from the holy spirit, he's a total loon--- he declared with conviction: no excuse, no escape clause. By all means, use your own discernment.
They are prophesying interpretations and clarity to the already existing word. If they are claiming to be adding pages to the Bible then yes they are false however if they are simply trying to shed light on the details of exactly how we get through the book of Revelation then I would at least keep an open ear.
I don't follow these people and had to look up the what Kim had said. I don't recall a passage in the Bible that parallels what Kim had said.
Yes exactly in my opinion a prophecy that is biblical can be discerned and proved to be true in time because it's based on the word of God. The prophecy should only help to shed light on the Bible which can be very cryptic and complicated at times.
