Can you or anyone point towards any sources detailing the effects of those two and zinc? I'd like it to be as robust and detailed as possible.

There are better people that me to do it. I recommend listening / reading Dr. Vladimir (Zev) Zelenko. He's the one I heard it from, I believe.
