It would be hysterically funny if we didn’t know people who actually think this way and punish their family members and friends by not allowing them to be with their family members until they have the required number of shots. These people are so mentally traumatized now, I doubt they will ever get back to any sense of normality. They will end up being bitter old hermits.
I went to a barber shot today. They had the "must wear masks" sign. I put a tissue over my face and went in. After a while one of the barbers gave me one of their masks. I didn't have time to search for another barber, so I went along. I said, "Don't worry, I've had covid so I'm not a threat to anyone, or threatened by anyone". Then one of the barbers said, "Well, I had covid, and it's been 8 months and I still don't have my sense of smell back", and then he said something about wishing he had been able to get the shot, instead of covid. I wanted to, but didn't, ask if he has since gotten a covid shot (I believe he probably did), but I didn't want to get a total butcher haircut :)
Is wearing a mask such a burden and infringement on your individual liberties? It seems past generations of Americans have been asked to make far greater sacrifices. Hyper-individualism seems to be eroding our sense of community in this country.
Looks like you've fallen for the MSM propaganda. If you bother to look, you'll find quite a bit of information on why masks don't really work, and other studies to show how bad they are for your health.
