I live in Japan myself. I think I have it easy because I live in a smaller town and I do see people maskless outside going for walks. I never wear a fearmask outside of work, except if I go to my doctor's clinic or to stupid Costco. Last week I did have one cashier at a grocery store ask me to wear a fearmask as I was checking out, and I told her I don't need one. They have a hivemind, but they tend to back off when pushed against. The crazy thing is that after two atomic bombs were dropped on this country, you'd think that the people here would have learned a lesson on not blindly trusting the government.
