I have heard conflicting answers to this question. If possible, i woukd love to read Hitlers own words, or from contemporary Germans, why they hated the Jewish people.
I understand this type of thread can be controversial and volatile. I ask that we can keep respectful and kind. While controversial, this is also a legitimate historical question wirth pondering. Especially because it is rarely discussed from Hitlers point of view. Right or wrong, i want to know what HE felt about tge Hewish people. I would greatly appreciate any help, as it is difficult to find it in the dozens of speeches he made..
My personal note is that, while i do notice the amount of Jewish people in positions of power, my opinion of them is very high. They are hard working, family oriented people that treat me in my business very well! In fact i wish Christians learned a bit from them!
Pardon all my disclaimers. I just want some good clean historical information. Any you provide woukd be much appreciated!
Funnily, Hitler was very liberal when came to Vienna as a young adult. He hated all the anti-semitic pamphlets that were very common place in those days. Over time he started noticing during his interactions with Jewish people that he came across, that they were very different from the rest of the Austrians or German expats living there. He was so disturbed by their apparent lack of concern of the country or the community that he started getting curious and started reading the pamphlets.
Thats when he realised that almost every aspect of the society was being controlled by them. Whenever he saw strange things happen (like one example was his labour union making inexplicable decisions) he would try and find who was behind it, and almost always find out it was a Jewish person. Later on in life he believed that Communism was overly represented by Jewish people as well.
You can dig into the deal he made with the Zionists to help relocate Jewish people and how that deal was detrimental not just for him but also for the Jewish people.
One thing you will learn if you dig into this, is as Q implied, we know very little truth about history, and everything we are taught is warped to say the least.
Where did you learn this?
From his auto biography. Its quite an eye opener
