Yes.... And it began in the '60s with no fault divorce. That used to be a hard thing to get you were usually ordered into counseling especially if there were children involved.
Now it's too easy to walk away when you're aggravated and find something new and when it happened in the '60s my mother told me that with that policy we would begin to see the 'rot from within'.
"Don't think your father doesn't drive me crazy and I can walk out of here but we both know that you children need both of us". She was just being sassy to a very young girl who is asking about what she was listening to on the radio... The passing of 'no fault' divorce.
It would send women back into the workplace in droves to support themselves. The treasury could collect many more taxes and commerce could almost double with the need for two homes two cars two toasters two microwaves two Barbie dolls and two GI joes. One for each home. Almost doubling the economy.
They've talked about abortion for so long I wish they would talk about divorce.
