One of the great mysteries.
Did a prophet from long ago have a vision of the future and write it down for future generations?
Or did some modern day nutcases read the prophecy in an old book, laughed, and said: "Hah! I want to be the bringer of darkness! Lemme build that thing described in this book!"
This statue doesn't match any description from scripture. First of all, it's a Jaguar. Second, OP cut the parts of the scripture which describe features of the beast not found on the statue.
Sure is ugly, though.
