Honor Guard is the most OCD component of the Armed Forces. Remember we have a whole tradition with guarding a tomb for some unknown dead guy. The flags being wrinkled, the lack of 21 gun salute and the funeral gun shots when the Resident visited Arlington Cemetery are nothing to turn your nose to.

This does not mean, however that the entire military is in on the plan. In fact those in the know could be as little as one hundred people.
