I'm no JAG, or military law expert, but I find myself wondering if the procedure for a military tribunal might have a determined timeline for the proceedings. If there is such a thing, then might the timeline require completing the tribunal in 10 days?
Just spit balling here.
In the LoW manual 10 days is the maximum time period allowed before a detained 'enemy' HAS to informed as to why they are detained.
