Hosea 7:8 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind:

Now there are stand alone truths in scripture. Like a fact stated of truth so you can understand the rest. Yes it can be taken out of context of the chapter because it is a stand alone truth of God !

It’s like saying:

I’ve got a red car to sell. It is a Chevrolet; that need work.

Now context of what I wrote is I’m selling a vehicle. It’s red and needs work but here is the stand alone truth; It’s a Chevrolet!

Now here in Hosea this portion of scripture is pulled from the context of scripture!

“Sow to the wind and you’ll reap the whirlwind “

It’s saying if you sow to the wind… you will reap a disaster!
