Even though it takes longer, I always go to cashier operated checkouts. Nice to keep people in jobs and have a natter.

Always at the grocery store, never go to Walmart. One of the "monitors" tried grabbing my cart to take me to the self-check, she got an earful then looked at me with total disgust. Bitch.
