When I had COVID I didn’t have it bad at all. However I did take Diphenhydramine antihistamine after reading a study on here about it being affective against the symptoms.
(In the UK it is sold as nytol 25mg sleeping pill)
I do believe it relieved my stuffy nose and generally turned the symptoms down by 60%ish
Please don’t take this as advice, google for studies etc before making any decisions - I only took it because it was essentially a sleeping pilll, one before bed and one at lunch.
I also took about 5000mg of vitamin c spread over the day with zinc, vitamin d and quercitin. ( look up the Zelenko protocol for dosages on the others) I had been taking this albeit with 1000mg vitc for 3 months everyday before COVID.
I know a guy who could barely breath, said his lungs felt like they were full of concrete, he got through it without intervention.
If you don’t have any serious underlying health conditions the odds are massively in your favour to get through this.
