I live in a liberal place, and I've always worn a mask into my local grocery store. Today was the day I decided to go in maskless and see the reaction. I was definitely nervous at first, but after no immediate confrontation was made, I relaxed a bit and went on my way shopping. When it was checkout time, I was asked by a different cashier if I had a mask to which I replied 'no'. He had a dismayed look and went and grabbed one from a box for me. I said, 'Did you ever read the back of that box? It states specifically on there that these do not protect you from coronavirus.' He just kinda shook his head and went back to his register.
As my guy is ringing me up, I state loudly, 'You know what I read the other day? I read that Pfizer made $35 Billion in the 3rd quarter alone. Isn't that crazy?!?' Now mind you, I've been to this cashier many times over the last couple years and barely exchanged more than a few words with him, so it definitely caught him by surprise. After he said a few words back and tried to defend them saying they make more than just a vaccine I said, 'Well did you, they paid the biggest fines in court? They've falsified data for their studies and were also fined for paying off doctors to use their product. Google it, it's something to consider'.
As I'm gathering my belongings and getting ready for checkout, a woman at a different cashier yells at me, 'Well you should wear your mask above your nose so you protect all of us'. I said, 'These masks don't protect you from coronavirus. The virus is 1 microscopic unit, and these masks only protect you from 3 units or bigger!' At this point, some other employee started yelling at me to leave and just walk to the door. As I'm leaving, I just start saying, 'Freedom of thought is ok, it's really ok!'
It felt liberating to finally break out and not just be another node perpetuating this evil system. I've worn things before as to not rock the boat, especially since my spouse is a firm believer in the opposite, but I've reached a point where I can no longer keep up this charade.
So to get to my point, I plan on not wearing a mask ever again. I anticipate in the future, I'll most likely be denied entrance there for not wearing a mask. My question is, do I have a legal case if I'm refused service there? Even though I don't have underlying health reasons for not wearing a mask, is there discriminatory grounds I can fight them on? I've had enough sitting idly by, so I'm planning on pushing the envelope and if I have to take a fight in court then I'll undertake it. Any advice?
TLDR: Refused to wear mask, got asked to put one on. Dropped some red pills, but think I'll be refused service in future if I don't wear mask, is there a legal case I can make against them?
Absolutely. The whole lack of awareness about biohazardous handling and disposal is a huge tell. As is the complete absence of any criteria for masks. The only true criteria is that it cover your face like you are a slave.
Exactly, the same person who is legitimately scared to take off their mask in the store will pick one up off the ground and throw it away... I think in 1984 they called this double think.
